The Future of Building is Here Today...

This technology is by far the biggest leap in quality in the history of construction in this country.

Smart builders know an opportunity when they see it.

Phoenix ICF offers the very best of  what ICF technology has to offer:

Phoenix ICFs feature 5-inch and 7-inch concrete wall cavities to provide sufficient structural strength for several different building applications.

The flat concrete wall formed inside Phoenix ICFs by a nearly unobstructed flow of poured concrete has superior strength compared to that of a traditional poured wall or concrete masonry wall of the same thickness because of the superior curing environment of ICF walls.  It is the concrete that performs the structural function in an ICF wall, but it is also important for the expanded styrene to be strong so that blowouts are avoided and the builder's job is more trouble-free.  Many ICFs on the market use Type 2 expanded polystyrene having a density of 1.5 pounds per cubic foot, with a  +/- 10% tolerance.  Phoenix now specifies a minimum expanded polystyrene density of 1.5 pounds per cubic foot -- there is no 10% tolerance.  ICFs at less than 1.5 pounds per cubic foot of density will not leave the factory.
